“Today's standards of production, retail and processing industry increasingly imply one or another type of meat packaging,” the National Meat Association said. - Of course, this is more hygienic, provides longer shelf life and reduces the risks of bacterial contamination. But selling meat without packaging remains popular for cultural and national reasons. At the same time, it is recommended that such meat be cooked as quickly as possible. The meat in the package, subject to storage temperature conditions, remains safe throughout the expiration date and excludes the penetration of harmful and dangerous microorganisms.

Oleg Bondarev, the owner of the BEEF STORY farm, said that the company's products are sold only in vacuum packaging, adding "this is our principled position."

“We have been working this way since the start of production. In my opinion, this is the only way to maximize product protection, ”said Oleg Bondarev.

MPZ Okraina LLC also sells products in packaging, said Natalya Kravtsova, Deputy General Director for Marketing. In addition, due to the difficult epidemiological situation, additional safety measures were taken at the enterprise.

“All entrance offices and factories are equipped with special disinfectants, disposable masks were purchased for employees. Until April 30, by order of the Director General, unauthorized persons are prohibited from entering the territory, everyone is taking temperature, business trips are limited, corporate events are canceled, ”said Natalya Kravtsova.
