This is prescribed by project of the decree of the Uzbekistan President “About measures for expansion of trade and economic cooperation with Republic of Mongolia”. The project was prepared by the Uzbekistan State Veterinary Committee and proposed for consideration on the portal of the law documentation on July 24.

National air company “Uzbekistan Airlines” which is committed to submit the matching fare on freight will be transporting meat imports.

Meat imports partly will be placed at disposal of the State Committee of Reserves Management under the Cabinet. Besides Mongolian meat imports will be covering needs of state-financed organizations, as well as social and other facilities.

Mongolian meat imports might be charged extras but not more than 10% of purchasing cost. Nothing is known about estimated volumes.

It will be recalled that Uzbekistan-Mongolia cooperation promoted in 2018. Thus, tourists from Mongolia can visit Uzbekistan under visa-free regime for a term of 30 days. Fifth round of Uzbek-Mongolian political consulting took place in Tashkent this spring. Besides Mongolian largest companies visited Uzbekistan in April of 2019. Following the results of negotiations parties has reached agreements on supply of Uzbek cars, fresh and dry fruits to Mongolia. Particularly, Mongolian company Nomin Holding has signed export agreement with UzAgroExpot valued at $10 million. Consideration of the legislative draft will run until August 7, 2019
