The ban on meat export from Mongolia to China is lifted

A meeting of the working groups of the Mongolian-Chinese intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation was held in Ulaanbaatar.

Mongolia lifted its ban on meat supplies to China

The Mongolian side was led by the head of the department of the contiguous countries of the Ministry of foreign relations T. Zhanabazar, the Chinese side was represented by the working group headed by the deputy director of Asian department of the Ministry of commerce Jan Veychyun. Having discussed the current issues of cooperation, the parties came to the agreement on lifting of the ban on supply of the Mongolian meat to China.

It bears reminding that several months ago after sharp rise in prices on meat in the capital markets the Chinese buyers of meat products were accused of this, and there was made the emotional decision of the Government of Mongolia on the termination of meat exports to China.
