Export of live cattle over five months of 2020 from Ukraine valued at $15.6 million.

As emeat.ru reported in January-May, 2020 Ukraine exported 9 thousand Mt of live cattle valued at $15.6 million. This is evidenced by the data of the State Customs Service.

Countries such as Lebanon (23.5%), Saudi Arabia (19.6%) and Uzbekistan (19.3%) were major importers of Ukrainian domestic live cattle during the five months of 2020.

In June 2020 cattle livestock reduction in all groups of animals was by 1,5?6%, Ukrainian State Stat informs.

Most of all, the number of cattle decreased - to 3.47 million head, which is 6.6% less than on the same date in 2019.

Pigs in Ukraine turned out to be 5.97 million heads, which is 5.9% less against last year, and sheep and goats - 1.49 million or 6.3% less than a year earlier.
