The State Statistics Service of Ukraine reports that since the beginning of the year, 3.02 million Mt of meat have been produced in the country, as well as 8.67 million Mt of milk.

Meat production in Ukraine during the reporting period decreased by 0.9% - to 3.02 million Mt. At the same time, meat production at enterprises increased by 0.6%, while households reduced production by 4%. If we consider the picture of last year, then meat production in 2019 increased by 4.8% - to 3.47 million Mt (in live weight), and egg production - by 3.4%, to 16.6 billion units.

According to the State Statistics Service, egg production in the country over the 11 months of 2020 decreased by 2.2% - to 15.163 billion units and decreased in both - enterprises and in households. At the same time, households reduced milk production by 5.9%, and enterprises increased by 0.5%. According to the results of 2019, milk production in Ukraine decreased by 3.7%, and for the first time in the years of independence fell below 10 million Mt - to 9.68 million Mt.
