A master class on American marble beef was held at FoodExpo Qazaqstan 2023 in Almaty
The American Meat Export Federation (USMEF) organized a a master class on American beef for HoReCa professionals from Kazakhstan and other countries of the Central Asian region within the framework of the FoodExpo Qazaqstan 2023 exhibition and the Horex Qazaqstan 2023 project. The master class was held on November 1 by Pavel Onoprienko, the chef of the restaurant "Paulaner Brauhaus".
Chef Pavel presented to the participants and alternative steaks from American beef:
- Short Plate;
- Top Sirloin Cap;
- Hanging Tender.
He also shared the secrets of their preparation.
The drinks partner was the local company Saumal Deluxe, a producer of koumiss. Koumiss is fermented horse-milk beverage and traditionally used in Kazakhstan as a digestif for meat. Jiraffa company, an importer and distributor of American beef in Kazakhstan, provided Top Sirloin Butt Cap for the master class.
