In January 2020, Ukrainian beef exports were 2.14 thousand Mt valued at $7.26 million. Trade custom statistics provided  by the Ukraine State Customs Service (SCSU), Ukraine chilled and fresh beef exports accounted for 459 Mt at $1.45 million.

The largest importers of Ukrainian beef were Belarus with 432 Mt at $1.36 million and 94.12% share of overall exports; Azerbaijan with 15.9 Mt at $50 thousand and 3.46 %- share; Turkey with 10.47 Mt at $33 thousand. 

Frozen beef exports were 1.7 thousand Mt valued at $5.81 million and were mainly to Kazakhstan (433 Mt at $1.49 million), China (425 Mt at $1.47 million and 25.25% -share of overall frozen beef exports), Azerbaijan (290 Mt in volume and $1 million in value terms).
