Belarus boosts meat exports

Exports of fresh and chilled beef from Belarus in January-September amounted to 62.5 thousand Mt, which is 1.8% more than last year. In value terms, it grew by 0.8% to $217.6 million, according to Belstat. In September, shipments reached 8.2 thousand Mt.

The share of the Russian market amounted to 60.3%. Exports to this country were 18.5% down y-o-y or 37.7 thousand Mt. Revenue from beef exports  decreased by 18.9% to $ 139.2 million. Exports to Kazakhstan were 16.55 thousand Mt.

Belarus boosts meat exports

According to the results of nine months, frozen beef exports increased by 22.3% to 47.39 thousand Mt. In value terms, it added 18.1% to $160.2 million. In September, about 5.5 thousand Mt were shipped.

The share of the Russian market in the supply structure is 70.5%. 33.4 thousand Mt were shipped to the Russian Federation, or 11.9% up against last year, and revenue increased by 6.6% to $113.1 million. 3,467 Mt were delivered to China, which is 26.6% more than a year ago. In September, export topics rose again. 593 tons were shipped.

Revenue in January-September increased by 25.8% to $17.98 million. Also this year, exports to Uzbekistan are actively growing. It increased 58 times to 4,379 Mt by $13.47 million.
