There are 92 feedlots in the East Kazakhstan region. This year it is planned to build 3 more feedlots for 7 thousand head. This was announced by Vladimir Gailamazyan, the head of the Department of Agriculture, during a press conference.

As Vladimir Gailamazyan noted, since the beginning of the year, the production of meat of all types in live weight has amounted to 65 thousand Mt, the production of milk 234 thousand Mt, eggs - 40 million pieces. Also this year, it is planned to participate in the breed transformation of 219 thousand heads of cattle.

At the same time, dairy production is actively developing in the region. To date, 67 dairy farms are operating in the region. And it is also planned to build 3 dairy trade farms for 1350 head and reconstruct 2 farms for 680 head.

In addition, 63 milk reception centers have been created and operated. This year it is planned to create five more.

Finally, for the period from the beginning of the year to April, 7.2 thousand Mt of milk or 100% of the plan were purchased from the population, 29.5 thousand Mt or 97% of the plan were produced by dairy farms.
