Unsafe sausages were imported into Kazakhstan Republic

Department of Health of Kazakhstan Republic sent notification to the Russian Federal Consumer Rights Protection and Human Health Control Service notification upon receipt of unsafe sausages imported into RK.

Kazakhstan sanitary epidemiologists have sent notification to Russia Consumer Rights with request to inspect Russia processing meat plants. The specific occasion of the notification was records on supply of sausages of Russia origin with exceeded levels of harmful substances. In accordance with the Custom Union Technical Requirements permissible level is cent milligram per kg while the level in samples of Russian producers revealed more than one milligram of antibiotics.

About 200 more samples of sausages throughout the country were examined and in 25% of them there was disclosed exceedance of criteria.
