It considered draft laws on drinking water supply and sanitation, on non-bank credit institutions and microfinance, on amendments and additions to certain legislative acts in connection with the adoption of the Act on international commercial arbitration, and on amendments to article 483 of the Tax Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at ensuring the stability of prices for basic products

It was noted that the latter document is designed to provide the population with uninterrupted and guaranteed supply of basic food in the winter-spring period, fill the market and satisfy the needs of the population.

The bill consists of three articles that provide for amendments to article 1 of the Tax Code.

It is proposed to extend the benefits on value added tax levied on imported, manufactured, and sold basic food products until April 30, 2022. Among them are vegetable oil, sunflower and flax seeds, soybeans, meat, cattle, poultry, and products obtained from their slaughter, potatoes, frozen fish.
