The holding's plans for 2021 include an increase in beef production by 300 tons compared to 2020 - up to 18.1 thousand tons.

Head of the department for the sale of packaged meat "Agrocomplex" them. N.I. Tkacheva Konstantin Svechnik said that beef is in constant demand. Unlike pork and poultry, the price of this type of meat in the domestic market is steadily growing and annually increases by about 5%.

Despite the pandemic and a decrease in the number of cattle, the past 2020 was no exception. Despite the stable demand, there is not enough beef in Russia, Svechnik noted. During the year, the population of our country consumes about 2 million tons of cattle meat, and production does not reach this level. Part of the beef is imported by Russia. Agrocomplex will not only help fill the missing volume, but also bring beef under the Agrocomplex Vyselkovsky brand to foreign markets. So far, the holding supplies mainly beef by-products abroad. The planned growth in the export of meat products by approximately 2.5 times for 2021 is expected to be achieved through external supplies of poultry, pork and live pigs.
