USMEF at the Wine Travel Awards Forum at the WinExpo exhibition in Georgia
USMEF partnered the Wine Travel Awards (WTA) Forum within the frame of the Georgia WinExpo exhibition in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. The WTA celebration in honor of the winners of the second stage took place on June 2, 2023.
The WTA ceremony was attended by specialists in the field of winemaking, tourism and personnel management, journalists, and bloggers. Within the frame of the event, a wide tasting of exemplary wines produced by Georgian nominees and partners, combined with premium steaks from American Beef, such as ribeye and flanks, was organized.
As part of a brief presentation on American beef, the participants got acquainted with the production of American beef and its features, as well as with the activities of USMEF in Georgia. The participants were informed about the beginning of the American beef steak festival in four restaurants in Tbilisi and were able to taste American beef.
USMEF has published a newspaper "Menu of American beef" in two languages – Georgian and English especially for the Forum. The newspaper was distributed among the participants of the Forum and during the three days of the exhibition.
