As explained in the department, the main buyer of this type of meat is China, where 15.2 thousand tons of products were delivered, which is almost 3 times more compared to the period from January 1 to October 17, 2020. Kazakhstan is also among the main importers of Russian beef in 2021, which purchased 1.77 thousand tons of products (an increase of 2.2 times). The first three countries to which Russia supplies the largest volumes of beef is closed by Saudi Arabia, exports to which since the beginning of the year amounted to 1.51 thousand tons, the volume of shipments increased by 34% over the year (from January 1 to October 17, 2020 to Saudi Arabia delivered 1.13 thousand tons).

Rosselkhoznadzor also recorded an increase in pork exports. From January 1 to October 17 this year, deliveries of these products abroad amounted to 102.8 thousand tons. During the year, supplies increased by 19% (from January 1 to October 17, 2020, 86.1 thousand tons were delivered). The main importer of pork is Vietnam, where 48.5 thousand tons of meat were shipped, which is 40% more than in the same period in 2020 (then this figure was 34.7 thousand tons).

At the same time, the import of pork from abroad to Russia has been decreasing since the beginning of the year and as of October 17 amounted to 4 thousand tons, which is 16% less compared to the same period last year (then Russia imported 4.8 thousand tons). Rosselkhoznadzor.

According to the ministry, export supplies of horse meat are also growing. From January 1 to October 17, 2021, shipments of this type of meat abroad increased 24 times - up to 1.07 thousand tons (for the same period last year, exports amounted to 43 tons). The main buyer of horse meat is Kazakhstan, 1.01 thousand tons of products were sent there, which is 72 times more than the volume of supplies from January 1 to October 17, 2020 (then only 14 tons were sent). Another importer of horse meat is Ukraine, to which only 55 tons of meat were shipped (for the same period last year - 29 tons).
