As farmers explain, there is nothing to feed and no way to keep the livestock. And prices of franks and sausages only from early November went up by 3.84%.

In October there was also an increase in prices for these products. The rise in price of franks and sausages last month amounted to 4.65%, agency Agrotrend reports.

If you consider only sausages, then compared to the previous month, the average cost increased by 5.53%. But veal and beef prices went up the most. It is noted that buyers feel rising prices, and then switch to cheaper meat such as pork and chicken.

For one kilogram of beef, you will have to pay an average of 172 UAH ($6,6), for pork - from124 UAH ($4,77). Chicken fillet is sold for about 142 UAH ($5,46). In October, sausages with cheese cost 157.27 UAH/kg ($6,05 per kg), "Alan Geneva" with cheese - 225.03 UAH/kg ($8,66 per kg), dairy "Yatran" - 83.05 UAH/kg ($3,20 per kg).
