Ministry for agriculture developed requirements to breeding farms

Ministry for agriculture prepared the draft of the order in which requirements to breeding farms and companies, rendering service in the field of breeding animal husbandry are approved. The document is published on a federal portal of drafts of regulations. It is planned that the order will come into force on September 1, 2022

Types of breeding farms, and the general requirements imposed to such enterprises are stated in the project.

Breeding farms have to provide a tagging of breeding animals with assignment of identification number, keep account of breeding and productive qualities of breeding animals.

In addition, the appendices to the order indicate the minimum requirements for selection and genetic centers, for breeding farms that breed animals, including breeding farms for breeding deer and fur animals, for breeding and hybrid centers and for organizations for artificial insemination of farm animals.
