Meat is becoming more expensive in Azerbaijan
In recent days, the price of meat in Azerbaijan has increased again. Today, 1 kilogram of beef has increased from 12 manats to 14 (15) manats in some sales points in Baku, and from 11 manats to 13 manats in the regions.
According to sellers, the main reason for the increase in prices is the rise in the cost of feed.

In response to a request, the State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Supervision of the Consumer Market under the Ministry of Economy said that prices for meat in Azerbaijan are formed not based on state-regulated tariffs, but in accordance with the principles of a market economy, based on based on supply and demand.
The Ministry of Agriculture said that the institution does not participate in price regulation: “The Ministry of Agriculture does not have such a function. If the state does not regulate the price in any way, then in the market prices require offer determined according to the law”.
