The Governor of the Tver Region Igor Rudenya and the General Director of the AgroPromkomplektatsiya Group of Companies Sergey Novikov discussed the implementation of new investment projects of the holding in the region: the construction of a specialized farm for breeding young cattle of dairy breeds in the Konakovsky District and a livestock complex in the Rzhevsky District, the press service of the regional government reports. The company also plans to modernize an enterprise for the production of whole milk products in the Konakovsky district. The total investment will amount to almost 5 billion rubles.

In these areas, the holding already has cattle complexes with a livestock of 11.5 thousand animals, feed mills, six pig farms, including breeding farms. Rudenya noted that AgroPromkomplektatsiya is one of the largest partners in the region. “The projects you have already completed on the territory of the Upper Volga region have brought the meat and dairy farming industries traditional for the Tver region to a new level of development. To create more than three thousand jobs for our residents ", - said the head of the region.

The meeting also discussed support measures from the government of the Tver region for the implementation of the announced plans: provision of engineering and transport infrastructure, solution of territorial planning issues. Several AgroPromkomplektatsiya enterprises are currently operating in the Tver region for the production of dairy and meat products, the press service of the regional government noted. The company ranks fifth in the ranking of Russian pork producers and ninth among milk producers.
