Five meat farms launched in Akmola region

Akim Zhanbolat Khamitov reported on the results of socio-economic development in the region, which was named above. The reporting period is 2021, and the report was announced by him at a briefing. According to him, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev pays close attention to the development of the agro-industrial complex. In the framework of the program, the state allocated more than 1 billion tenge to the Zharkaini district. More than 33.4 million tenge were allocated to subsidize livestock breeding. Thanks to the allocated funds, the number of cattle increased (+ 100.2%); sheep, goats, horses (+ 122.7%). The production of eggs, milk and meat in living weight has doubled.

This year, five meat farms have been set up in the region. Livestock raising is successfully developing in the villages of Lvovskoe, Otradnoe, Ushkarasu, etc. A family dairy farm for one hundred head of dairy cattle appeared in Tasotkel. The dairy shop uses German technology. The range of products has expanded, as well as the production volumes. In the future, they want to increase production to 5 tons.

Earlier in Kazakhstan, they predicted an increase in prices for meat and meat products. It could be a consequence of the vicissitudes of the weather, due to which in the summer of 2021 the grass burned under the scorching rays of the sun. In this regard, many livestock breeders did not have time to prepare feed for agricultural animals. Against the background of a shortage of fodder, prices for meat will go up.
