Beef Workshop at Il Forno Restaurant on August 28, 2019
The US Meat Export Federation (USMEF) is conducting a seminar on American Beef on the certification and branding of American Beef. The practical part of the seminar will be presented by a master class from one of the most creative Texas chefs, the owner of Lucille's restaurant in Houston - Christopher Williams.
Chris Williams received a classical education in South, French, Mediterranean, West Indian and East African cuisines at Le Cordon Blue in Austin, Texas. And soon he began to travel a lot around the world, working in restaurants in Lithuania, England, the USA and in restaurants on the way to these countries.

Chef Chris was named Ambassador of American Culinary Culture in 2018 on his 25-day tour of the Balkans - Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Albania. In partnership with the US Embassies in Slovenia and Slovakia, he held lectures on food products, conferences for the hospitality industry, and master classes in preparing various dishes of traditional American cuisine.
He taught and mentored teens with disabilities and just hard-to-reach teens in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The Zagreb Museum of Modern Art has even recreated Lucille's restaurant for its three-day Rout 66 festival.
