Azerbaijan increased meat import by 24%
Import of meat to Azerbaijan increased by 2,206 tons in the first quarter of this year.
In January-March this year, Azerbaijan imported 11,367 metric tons of meat.
Report informs referring to the State Customs Committee, the cost of meat in this volume amounted to 19 million 259 thousand US dollars. Imports of meat for the specified period amounted to 0.5% of the total imports of Azerbaijan.
The growth in volume terms amounted to 2,206 metric tons (24%), and in value terms amounted to 3 million 585 thousand US dollars (22.8%).
