Armenian authorities vaccinate cattle against foot-and-mouth disease
The Armenian authorities are vaccinating cattle against foot-and-mouth disease, the Center for Agricultural Services reports.

Vaccinations will be carried out on June 12-25 throughout the country. Cattle older than one day and small cattle older than 3 months are subject to vaccination.
"We ask the owners of the animals to bring them to the veterinarian serving the community at the specified time," as reported.
Vaccination is carried out within the framework of the state program.
Earlier, due to the threat of the spread of foot-and-mouth disease, Armenia banned the import of a few livestock and meat from Turkey and Jordan to the country from May 20, 2023.
