American Beef at Meal & Drinks Choice Award in Uzbekistan
USMEF participated as a partner in Gala event of the ninth Meal & Drinks Choice Award 2024 in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
The Meal & Drinks Choice Award is an annual and the only restaurant award in Uzbekistan, which has been awarded to the leaders of the hospitality industry for nine years.
The expert jury of the Restaurant Award consists of representatives of foreign diplomatic missions, HRI industry experts and businessmen. The jury members make their choice independently of the organizers and applicants.
This was the fourth time that USMEF has participated in this event.
The purpose of the participation was to present American beef and demonstrate the variety and high quality of American beef cuts and muscles, as well as BVM, available in the Uzbekistan market, to more than 200 HRI market participants from all over the country.
The grand final of the selection is a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners and the most prestigious event in Uzbekistan hospitality industry, was held at the Hyatt Regency Tashkent Hotel on Saturday, February 1.
USMEF got a unique opportunity to meet with Uzbekistan hospitality industry players, conduct a tasting of American beef (beef tenderloin, brisket, top blade, sirloin, beef liver pate) for the event attendees, and present American beef right during the award ceremony.
