The negotiations of the Rosselkhoznadzor with the National Service for Animal Health and Agricultural Product Quality of the Republic of Paraguay (SENACSA) took place on October 15 in a teleconference format.

The parties discussed the suspension by the Paraguayan side of issuing veterinary certificates to three establishments exporting beef to Russia. Currently, the National Service for Animal Health and Agricultural Product Quality of the Republic of Paraguay is conducting audits of these establishments for the compliance of their products with the requirements of Paraguayan and Russian legislation.

So, from September 28, 2018 the deliveries from establishments No. 49 / C2 FRIGOR?FICO CONCEPCI?N S.A., No. 42 Establecimiento Matadero Frigorifico Concepcion Roque Alonso and No. 18 PRIME S.A. in the Republic of Paraguay is suspended until the Paraguayan side completes the check.

The parties also agreed to verify the volumes of domestic production generated by these establishments with the volumes sent for export to Russia.

The Rosselkhoznadzor expects materials with investigation results from the Paraguayan side.
