In 2020, a plant for the production and processing of beef will open in the Kostanay region of Kazakhstan, MIA “KazAkparat” writes with reference to the press service of JSC “NC“ Kazakh invest”.

The project is implemented by the Canadian company SureGoodFoods and the Latvian entrepreneurs of the Bridge holding with the support of the Kazakhstan national company. Investments will amount to $ 30 million.

The project provides for the organization of a full cycle of beef processing, including a feedlot, slaughter areas, packaging, freezing and storage of products.

The new enterprise will annually produce 15-20 thousand tons of meat.

If the project is successful, investors plan to expand production and create a lamb and pork processing plant.
